Climbing Rose workshop

Dahlia Flower workshop

This is a new flower in the master class program, it is not even in the VIP online course yet. Using the dahlia as an example, I will show a new type of petal, which I have shown only to a few students in Moscow.

Tree peony workshop

1. Demonstration of technique from simple to complex

Evgenia shows students the technique not just like that, but according to a special method that allows any beginner to master the technique.

Conventionally, this can be described as a "demonstration from simple to complex". Evgenia, unlike other teachers, does not just demonstrate how she creates a flower, but shows each element separately. First - the very basics of the technique, then more complex elements that make up the finished artwork

After the demonstration, there is a mandatory practice of the flower element by the group. The next stage follows only after the group has mastered the current element.

The demonstration does not take place at one moment, but in several stages, which allows students to remember and practice all the knowledge acquired in the lesson.

This teaching method has proven to be very effective in more than 100 live master classes that Evgenia has conducted throughout the world over the past 8 years: in the Russia, Indonesia, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, India, Germany.

2. Flowers building diagrams

Education process in Evgenia's sculptural painting live workshops is built on the basis of detailed diagrams for building a flower from the basic elements that you will learn in the first lesson "Fundamentals of sculptural painting".

Thanks to this, the process of creating a three-dimensional flower using the "sculptural painting" technique turns into a kind of puzzle, a mosaic - a clear and consistent algorithm for creating a three-dimensional image.

The use of diagrams in master classes is the know-how of the teaching methodology developed by Evgenia Ermilova.

It is thanks to the use of flower construction diagrams that we can guarantee that absolutely any person who cannot draw and has never held a palette knife or pencil in his hands will be able to learn how to create three-dimensional flowers using the “sculptural painting” technique without being able to draw.

The diagrams are given to each student on paper. After the master class, you will take the pattern with you and will be able to easily repeat the flower at home using this great cheat sheet.

We ask you not to copy or distribute the diagrams obtained at the master classes, as they are the author's development of Evgenia Ermilova and are protected by international copyright law. The diagrams are intended for your personal use only.

3. Using the color wheel

Itten's color wheel is a tool for selecting color combinations. The scheme helps artists and designers create a palette in which shades harmonize with each other.

The color wheel was developed by artist and teacher Johannes Itten. He taught at the world-famous Bauhaus school of art and design, which defined the principles of architecture and design of the 20th and 21st centuries. For example, the IKEA company is still inspired by the ideas of this school.

Itten's color wheel is a popular tool for artists. In the master class, I will explain how to use it, and also give you a ready-made color scheme that you can use in your future work. Each master class is dedicated to a separate color scheme.

4. The teacher's attention to everyone

Evgenia does not just demonstrate the technique of sculptural painting, but achieves the most positive result from its implementation from you personally.

All 8 hours of the master class, Evgenia continuously walks around the tables where the students work and monitors the process of completing the work.

She gives feedback on each completed element and answers any questions the student may have.

Evgenia also additionally demonstrates to each student techniques that were not understood during the general demonstration.

Very often, students of our online courses come to the master classes to ask questions to the teacher and for Evgenia to "give them a hand". This is very valuable communication.

5. There is no language barrier!

A professional translator into English is always present at the master classes. The interpreter must have experience in simultaneous interpretation of major international events. We strictly check the translator's language skills to ensure complete understanding between students and the teacher. Translators get access to an online course on sculpture painting and thus expand their vocabulary with specific terms of sculpture painting.

The translator is always next to Evgenia and translates the students' questions, as well as the teacher's answers word for word, without allowing any discrepancies or misunderstandings.

Thanks to this, we achieve that there is no language barrier between the teacher and the students, which can interfere with the perception of the master class.

6. All materials and tools are provided at the master class
